It is nice to see some common sense with a lender and I was impressed with the processing time and communication.

Thanks, to Lucy Stamford BDM (South, East & North Yorkshire & East Midlands) and all at Skipton for the professional way a recent application for a client, was dealt with. We are so used to the computer, 'says no' mentality that it was a refreshing change to have a human being look at and understanding the case - and to allow it to proceed.

I just wanted to express my thanks for the way
this application has been processed.
I submitted it on line on 30th April in the morning. There were e mail requirements later in the day to which I responded.
On the 1st May, Joanne Hannan (Mortgage Consultant)called me with an update, and I had
to contact her again as the purchase price had altered.
Joanne carried out these alterations for me produced a revised KFI and had the val instructed the same day. Today I have received
a mortgage offer!!!
What an absolutely brilliant and efficient service from Joanne. It was also a pleasure to be able to talk to her and feel assured that
things would be done. My client's are really pleased.

I can honestly say that both Jon Rawley (BDM South West)and Skipton were the most efficient team with regards to tackling a problematic property. Other lenders found it difficult to understand a legal title situation,where as you managed to get an offer out in a week. Thank you

Mark Humphrey BDM (South East) helped me with a remortgage where a property was coming out of probate and one sister was buying another sister's share on a BTL remortgage. Some lenders I approached were not very helpful. Was this a purchase or a remortgage? If a remortgage, then it could not be done for 6 months. Mark cleared it with an underwriter pre-application and it sailed through.

Lucy Stamford has recently helped me place 2 difficult cases where other lenders were unwilling to take a view on all the good points of the cases. With the help of her underwriting team both cases have been offered quickly and have enabled me to provide my clients with excellent service and a solution when they thought they were reaching a dead end. Lucy is always incredibly willing to return phone calls at the end of the day, and her attention to detail and can-do attitude makes her a fantastic BDM to deal with.
