Most importantly, because they’re voted for by those in the industry, they’re an honest and independent assessment of which providers are going the extra mile.

At Skipton Intermediaries, we made a pledge to always deliver a five star level of service. That’s backed up by our dedicated team of 12 Intermediary Relationship Managers, 66 support advisors and 45 mortgage underwriters. They’re experts in their field, who understand your business and your clients. They’ll listen to your feedback and make things happen.

We’ve worked hard throughout the year to provide a great service that you and your clients deserve. And we’re proud that our commitment to being a five star lender has been recognised again.

Everything we do is underpinned by our Real Life Lending pledges, which recognise the importance of our relationship with brokers. We think the best way to help you deliver for your clients is through a personal, common-sense and flexible approach.

Real Life Lending means that we’ll never dual price – unless it’s in your favour. We’ll give you five working days to submit pipeline business after a product withdrawal. We won’t proactively market home or life insurance to your clients, and we’ll always communicate with you via timely, clear and straightforward communications.

But we know there’s always room to improve. So far this year we’ve made a wide range of changes based on feedback you’ve given us. These include introducing intermediary-only exclusive products, opening up Help to Buy remortgages and 90% LTV on New Build flats to all brokers. We've removed our maximum loan cap for First Time Buyers, and extended mortgage offers on New Build cases.

We’ve also introduced day one mortgage valuations, increased our maximum loan available at 85% LTV, and made 64 improvements to our online eMortgage system in the past year.
